Welcome back from your unexpected demise. I'm glad to see that you made it up to my neck of woods. However living in a place where other people take vacation puts a new spin on your thoughts. I do agree however that by being around things that are at once familiar and not familiar can lead to a "productive" vacation...if there is such a thing. Anyway, welcome back and ditto to Marilyn, that hat rocks.

Your resting vacation sounds sublime. I'm beginning to realize after only 5 weeks or so on the mainland that my whole frigging LIFE in the tropics was one long resting vacation. Still trying to absorb how BUSY it can feel to have a life here...I shiver to think how I'll feel once I add work to the equation. Sounds like you've found the right balance.

P.S. Love the hat...

I really need to *get* this concept. I did a spa weekend bachelorette party thingy a few weeks ago and took work with me, of course, but rested more than ever. Came home blissed out and sure my world was forever changed. 2.5 weeks later and I was at the business end of a panic attack. Haven't gotten un-panic-stricken since. Suckola.

Other than practice--something I'm so bad at--how does it get simpler to simply do the simple? :\

Thanks, as ever, CoCo. XXOO
