I would have guessed (based on your posts) that you would have fallen into the other camp--the one filled with people who remember every freakin' thing they've ever learned or studied. Those people intimidate me...or maybe they just annoy me. Hell, I barely remember actually ATTENDING school, let alone what I was TAUGHT. That dreaded knot of burden over something I 'should' be doing, but am not? Unfortunately, I'm VERY familiar with that feeling. Sounds like your piano teacher gave you some sage advice.
