  1. It’s so true, isn’t it? Once, a couple of us at work had a major email conversion issue where we lost all our emails – inbox, sent items, archived… it was the most liberating thing in the world. Like your first day at a new job.

  2. This is brilliant, and inspired for de-cluttering. But how to deal with the associated GUILT? That’s just a form of replacement clutter, it seems.

  3. And how are you keeping up with your no TV promise?

  4. Ah! STEP AWAY FROM THE COMPUTER! YOU DON’T KNOW WHAT YOU’RE DOING!

  5. Oh, and I see someone installed Jon Hicks’ Bloglines skin on Firefox!

jenny – I have to catch myself when my mind wanders towards “big fire” or “7.5 quake”. You don’t want to float that stuff into the universe. On the other hand, o, the freedom…

Jennifer – Guilt? Honey, I’m half-Catholic, half-Jewish. Guilt is a standing condition. Feel the guilt and purge anyway. (Hey! Now THERE’S a good book title!!)

Neil – Hey, I’m not writing over there for my health, you know. Oh, wait—yes, I am.

Brandon – You are a pussy. I am not talking to you. Also, you are uninvited to my birthday party.

Dale – Abso-frackin’-lutely! I was going to switch over to Google’s until I found that skin. Now I am happy happy happy.

  7. You know, I just got back from a week’s trip, and one of the things I do is to mark all my feeds read. Except for a couple. And among those was this post. So, if I hadn’t seen this there, I wouldn’t be spending my time (and yours) telling you this. Which would probably be better for both of us.
