Illustration Friday – Suit

suit

I have not yet got the hang of this Illustration Friday thing.

Apparently, you IMMEDIATELY draw the topic when it’s announced on Friday, then upload as soon as possible so that everyone sees your thumbnail first. (Non-competitive and non-judgmental, my Aunt Fanny….)

So it is too late to submit my entry under last week’s topic, “Suit”.

But it is never too late to start drawing. Or thinking, for that matter.

Next week’s topic: “Rejection”.

After 10 years of acting and 45 of living, how hard can that be?

  1. Good for you for participating! It was one of my goals for this year but I still haven’t done it yet. [insert lame excuse here]

When it first started they would announce the topic on Mondays. MONDAYS! Not nearly enough time to create an illustration I’d actually make public, imho. So announcing on Friday is better, but you’re right, a lot of people post immediately. I’ve noticed many people pull from their stash of completed illos and don’t do a new one each time. Nothing wrong with that, it just explains how they can get them up there so darn quickly.

    C,
    Like your site.
    Loved your blog on marriage.
Also loved your use, borderline abuse of the english language.
    Very creative.
    Cheers,
    Paul

Hmm… I might have to check that sucker out.

(I totally punked out on the meme you tagged me to do. Busy blah busy blah busy blah blah blah.)

Illustration Friday posts their new topic on Friday. The following Friday is when the featured artist is announced. What is your stance on traditional marketing ? Any comment on tools they use ? Thanks a bunch.
