Not Fainthearted - I know, right? It's really a once-in-a-lifetime opportunity. Interesting you say that about therapy b/c Greg and I have discussed how all the years of therapy (and acting training) we've each done has aided enormously in making this such a productive, frictionless process.

Iron Fist - No age regression, per se. We talk, he decides to work on a particular area—my fear over organizing my money, my compulsion to make overlong lists, etc—he asks who's in charge of that, and some "part" of me pops up. It's all me now, but definitely, the imprinting on some of this stuff happened at particular times, and with my adult perspective, I can certainly reason them out afterwards.

Adam - Thank *you* for validating that for me! I have to admit, for as comfortable as I am w/ my general non-normative behavior, some of what happens in hypno is definitely pushing the envelope for me.

"... the state of being hypnotized is much like my own waking state, only with the governors removed." That's a great statement. And it wasn't until I read that that I put a couple of things together about my own past: I learned self-hypnosis when I was eleven or so (had an adventurous older brother, and I read everything he did). I got pretty good at it, too.

Now, I do intuitive reads as a mainstay of my work, and "dropping in" and working with the guidance that's coming is a snap for me — and this just may be why. I'm so practiced at it, being in that world is second nature.

Thanks for your part in linking that up, C — it may sound light, but that's really cool for me; it gives me another piece of the puzzle to help my students with.

I'm fascinated by Greg's methodology. Is he doing age-regression? Or he asking to speak to a part of your unconscious and this is what comes bubbling up? Or something else entirely?

Man, this is cool.

I'm starting to feel a little jealous. Like 30 days of hypnosis with a friend will get you as far as 10 years of therapy got me!! Yay you!
