Ditto — excellent post. I love your candor, and of course, your conclusion. It is beautiful; and the beauty of it sustains us (me) through all the rest.

Thanks (again and again) for sharing your process with us!

WOW!!!!! Its like in 30 days you've been around the whole world 30 times and have seen its really whole and not fragmented (like TPTB would like us to believe) I can't explain how but reading this post is like I've been traveling a similar trajectory in a different way. What you wrote means a lot personally to me, its like I've been living it as well. I wonder how many others have? Blessings...go out and "live your bliss" woman! :)

This post reminded me of two things--Barbara Sher's technique of gathering your allies around you before you go to sleep at night, and the Dalai Lama's essay on Compassion and the Individual. I wrote about that essay in my last posts at both StresstoPower.com/blog (The Greatest Teachers) and CheerfulMonk.com (Happiness, the Purpose of Life?). The StressToPower post included one of my favorite poems:

And did you find what you wanted in this life even so?
I did.
And what did you want?
To call myself beloved.
To feel myself beloved on this earth.
      ---Raymond Carver

And, of course, Harry Potter fans are well aware that Love is what it's all about. J. K. Rowling did a great job of making that clear to all us youngsters.

As I mentioned in The Greatest Teachers, we have a chance to put more love and compassion into the world every day. It's the greatest thing we can do for ourselves and others, and it doesn't have to take much time. It's a way of being in the world.

WOW, the bravery here is astounding. I salute you!

Each time I get to bear witness to someone taking life by the horns is a good day. I know for so much of my life I just rode along for the ride. When I finally got sick and tired of being sick and tired, I got busy...

So much of what you write here Colleen is about the realization that you are not alone. That for me was the key. That reaching out to those around you for help is the key. Nothing great can be achieved alone. When I really came to use this belief in my own life, All kinds of fab stuff stated happening.

Just love youe humorous point of view, so much humility and tenderness, it is wonderful.

THANK YOU FOR SHARING YOUR JOURNEY TO YOURSELF WITH THE WORLD...it is a blessing we all are grateful to have.

Blessings, Florence
