Yes, yes, a thousand times yes. Tell me you can't see that on a t-shirt. For me it all crystalizes with the shoes. I see those pointy little numbers with that impossible arch and I literally ache in sympathy--and of course remember my younger years, struggling w/why it was necessary for my feet to hurt in order to be considered beautiful. Still, my hope for the next generation of women (and the ones after that) is that they recapture sovereignty over their bodies and dominion over their sexuality. And I say recapture because, as we all know, that WAS the natural order of things in our goddess universe before power-over took over.
