So happy to see that Seattle is treating you well. I look forward to your posts each morning over my cup of coffee. Keep observing the social beauty that is Seattle. All of us are living vicariously through you. I love the description that reads: “Yeah, I can pass (kind of) for a normal lady or a Good Christian*, but it’s like wearing a really gnarly bra or Spanx all day: at some point, you just wanna pop off the harness, unhitch the top button of your pants and let you be you be you.” Couldn’t have said it better myself!

I came to southern Indiana by way of Los Angeles (lived there 12 yrs) w/a two-year layover in Denver to get married & have a baby. Circumstances have kept me tethered here for ten years now, and I’ve never, ever, read a better description of how I feel (on certain days) trying to make a life here: it truly is like wearing a really gnarly bra! And I love your Gram! Thanks for the laugh this morning.
