Poetry Thursday: Game on

The first change is
up to you.

The rest
come rushing
up to you,
one after another,
pell-mell,
willy-nilly,
greedy, greedy bastards
ready ready ready
for the light
you have let in
through that small, small
crack in the door.

The news is
that changing one thing
changes everything.

Whether that bit
of news is
good
or bad
depends on how
openĀ
your arms
and your brain
and your heart
really are.

Oh Colleen, you are so right again. I’m in the midst of a summer life adventure that jumps rudely beteeen good and bad revelations. Every time I think I need to throw in the towel, a good lessons pops up, so I dive back in to learn more. Man, those damn personal revelations are a pain in the ass to gain!

Wonderful poem, thank you heaps.

Thank you, all!

@Anne – Word! Or, as that Goddamn Yehuda Berg’s email today said, “The road to heaven passes through hell.” (What he didn’t say: “And loops around back a few times, just to remind you.”)
